Teaching Philosophy
My goal is for students to leave my courses with the ability to apply what they learn. Having spent time in industry before returning to academia, I understand the value of practical skills, and I try to design learning experiences that bridge the gap between what students study and what they will actually encounter in their careers.
In the classroom, I create assignments that mirror real-world problems, provide room for inquiry-driven exploration. I draw on my industry background to provide concrete examples from practice to help students see how the concepts they are learning translate to the work they are preparing for.
